Default LTFT Tuning by mapping MAF hz vs. gms/sec vs. LTFT %

I've got some tunes pretty close by using the VE and IFR tables, got all of the LTFT's down between -1 and -8 etc, but I want to get them all at around -1. The only way I can think to do this semi-easily is to setup a table that maps out MAF gms/sec on the top, MAF hz along the side, and plots the LTFT correction in the table. So, at say 3645hz, the PCM is saying that equates to 22gms/sec of air, while the 02's are correcting via the LTFT's by --5. If we take that and scale the MAF 95%, that would bring the LTFT near zero. Does this make any sense? I just worry because it screws the nice smooth curve of the stock MAF table up. Thanks.
