Default Help Diagnose Please

P0106 MAP Performance gets thrown only idling after cold start. I clear the code and after warmed up for awhile, the car will run lean. This is the same tune I've had for a few years and never had any problems. I pulled the intake and replaced the MAP seal, but still have the same issue. I think the MAP sensor is on the fritz. Share your experienced opinions please.

I replaced the MAP sensor and it still threw P0106, but I think I figured it out. The O ring on the vacuum port fitting on the back of the intake was bad. I took it apart and instead of replacing the O ring, I used RTV to seal it back up. I'll report my conclusion when I get it back together tomorrow after the RTV cures over night. This might be what causes the mysterious P0106. Everytime Ipull the intake, I want to put my ported heads on. If anyone else has had the same issue please post your findings.

My Ls6 intake had a real loose fitting back there, I did the same thing, just covered that area with silicone. I didn't have codes, just noticed that the MAP was loose. If you replaced the sensor, you should be good, Is the connector and wiring OK?

Yep, the connector is good and so are the vacuum lines.

I resealed the back of the intake and reworked the PCV system and added a catch can. Still throws P0106 but doesn't run as lean as it did before. I'm going to try a new MAF. I haven't had the chance to log and see if it is reading off. It has had a lot of nitrous through it (previously ran a dry kit). I'll be happy when I get this figured out.

Ok, it's fixed. I put a brand new MAF on it. My WB was reading lean still so I borrowed a friends and everything was fine. The ground for my WB wasn't up to the task so I cleaned it and it's working properly again. I'm taking it to the track tomorrow to see how she runs.
