Default 98 maf tables vs. 99 up Help

I want to do an 85 mm Maf conversion from a truck in my T/A. I was looking for the calibration tables as a starting point but I found that the 98 pcm maxes out at 11250 hz where the 99 up is 12000 hz. I was told that on a 98 pcm using the truck tables the 85 mm maf will flat line above 11250 hz. I guess this is because the truck already uses the similar pcm as the 99 and up f car. So how do I get the pcm from my 98 to read up to the 85 mm MAFs max of 12000hz? Thanks

as far as i know you cant, your gonna have to upgrade to atleast a 99 pcm then flash it with your current tune along with the maf tables for the 85mm. later on you can then upgrade to a newer operating system too...

You just put it on the car and tune it just like the stock MAF. It will max out somewhere around the 425-440rwhp range. The truck MAFs report higher frequencies at lower airflow levels than the stock MAF, so it definitely requires tuning.

He would also need to re-pin the PCM, its not a plug and play setup.

I have considered switching to an 02 pcm and/or going SD and not have to worry about this MAF stuff. Just trying to weigh my options.
