Default What could cause only 88% TPS when Floored on 06 GTO??

I did a data long on my GTO today and noticed that I only was getting 88% TPS at WOT!!!! What could be causing this??? I will check the obvious for obstruction under the Pedel, but there is nothing there.

Since this is an electronic TB, is there something else that could cause it? Is there something in the tune or PCM?

Thanks!!

That is normal. Idle will look messed up to, like 14% or so.

Ya, at idle I am at 19% due to my cam and needing to idle higher and obviously not haveing a IAC... But, why does it not go to 100% when floored? Does 88% actually result in being completely open?

yep, go to the HP Tuners forum, I know I saw some explanations from a couple of guys. I think there might be another way to log the data so it shows 100%.

you're logging a wrong PID. GTO's have ETC, so you want ETC position, not TPS, which is for the old cable throttle systems.

what you are logging is the Throttle angle voltage... so WOT has to be above 4.0Volts and you are getting over that and will find that the 88% you are seeing is 88% of the 5 volts reference voltage
