Tuning Before Install?
hey guys i have a 2000 SS with Pacesetter LT's, ORY, Cutout, Magnaflow Catback, LS6 intake, SLP Lid, 9' rear with 3.90's, built M6 and I am gonna be putting a cam in the car in a few weeks! My question is, my buddy tunes and told me that he would tune my car for the cam setup now, even before its done! So I was wondering if that would be bad, good or???? Let me know!! Might sounds like a stupid question but I just thought I would ask! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanx for readin! If u would like to PM me you can as well thanx again guys!

You can't properly tune the car before the cam is put in... no way, no how... He might be able to do a little base work on a tune for it - but the only way to tune it properly is using a wideband from idle to WOT after the install is complete!
