LS1 / T56 in old school chassis - ECM Help.
I am on the verge of completing my swap, just got to connect a couple more wires tomorrow and then just wait for my fuel pump & regulator in the mail.
I have some tuning questions. My setup is from a 2004 GTO. I have the ECM, PCM & Throttle control box plugged into the harness because it came that way. The ECM was tuned by Speed Inc in Illinois a couple of years ago. The guy also gave me a Superchips MAX MicroTuner as well. The only difference between then and now is that i am not running a BCM, and i had to change the long tubes to shortys because of my chassis.
Will everything run fine once i go to start it, or are there things i need to have changed in the ECM? If so, can they be done with this MicroTuner?
Thanks,
Darren

You will need to turn VATS off. Don't know if you can do that with the micro tuner or not - probably not... That should get it to run, then I think there are some timing tables that will need work because of the BCM not being hooked up.

There is a box mounted together with the Powertrain Interface module with "Throttle Position Controller" written on it. My motor is a cable throttle. Maybe it's something to do with the Cruise Control??

But i'm in a bit of a situation and need this done by Wednesday. It's the last thing to be done now.
I've been to the local tuning shop, but they want the car because they need the harness to connect to. I called a local mobile tech but he's not sure if he can do it. What software can get in to turn it off? He said he uses OTC Genisys?

I don't think an OTC Genisys, can do it.
