Need some tuning advice-Vinci owners help.. My Hawk currently has a basic tune from Speed Inc. that covers rear 02 code delete, e.g.r. delete, and what ever else is included in their basic tune package. This only costs ~100 so there were no adjustments made to the fuel trims and so forth.
My predicament is that I purchased a Vinci hand held programmer that I need to send back to be reset. Roger at Vinci High Performance told me that if my current PCM has a tune installed that I would need to have the PCM re-flashed at GM.
Can anyone verify if I will need to do this. My concern is that the Vinci hand held will not delete the codes for the rear 02 sensors and I may have some issues with the EGR being taken off. Will it be worth it to pay for the hand held to be reprogrammed and then take my car to GM to be re-flashed?
Any/all advice is much appreciated.
