Default LC-1 or LM-1.....which is preferred?

About $150 difference. Other than not having the guage included...is there a reason not to go less expensive and just hook up to the HPT scanner and add an aftermarket gauge? Which way do most go?
Thanks

in all honesty, i wish i went with something else than this innovate system. they are VERY finicky and easily effected by the ground its hooked up to (blowing the analog chip). go with a aem uego, autometer, or something else.

I use the LM1, and it works very well for my needs. Make sure you set the off set

I have an LM2 and love it. I use a serial cable to connect to EFILive...
