Default NEW 383 tune question HELP

I just fired my new 383 up for the first time, I had a H/C package on it and tuned by texas speed. Then blew it up after a few trips to the track and too much nitrous.
I got got my new stroker running, Fires right up and Idles good, sounds good but When I rev it to right around 3500 RPMs it has a bad miss and falls off, and throws the PO336 code for the crank sensor. I had my crank checked before install and was given a PERFECT from the shop, It is a callies racemaster crank.
MY question is this
COULD the sensor just be going bad? the motor did sit for over 6 months and things got moved and bumped while I built it. Thinking of getting a new one and see what happens

Is this just a matter of the car not recognizing the crank and easily fixed with a tune. I counted the teeth on the original crank and the new and they were the same, i noticed that the reluctor wheel is actually welded on the new crank I assume from callies.
Any help will be greatly appreciatedl

No sir, how do you do a case (crank learn), If I have to rev the engine past 3k it will throw a code, but up until that it sounds perfect.
Definately believe it is not firing the plugs, because if I floor it it will backfire all to hell then die, then start right back up

after searching it looks like a crank learn can only be done with a tech 2 from the dealership is that correct? I
I still have to have the car tuned,, is the crank relearn something the tuner can do?

Yes, a tuner can do a crank learn with tuning software...
