Any ideas on if the predator's diagnostic mode can work on any OBD-II GM vehicle? For example say, a 97 Eldorado?

Tried it on the Caddy(no smoke or fires )and it even seems to work ok except it won't clear the codes after scans them.

as far as i know it works on every 96+ gm car but my not clear codes on all of them i have used it on:

98 malibu
99 grand am
99 s10

diagnostics and all and it did clear codes out of the malibu. i think it just cant clear certain codes or something, but yeah it should work...i have done others but those are the only ones i remember
