I have a 96 z28. I recently did the efi connection 24x swap. The SES light comes on for the initial self test, but will not come on when you unplug a sensor. When you scan the car and unplug the tps or maf, it does not trigger a dtc? Any ideas as to why the ecm wont throw codes?

Light won't always go on when a sensor is unplugged. Conditions may not have been met. Sometimes it takes a few ignition cycles.
