No spark after moving maf
starting my car it takes a really long time to start. The only thing that I did was move my maf closer to the throttle body. And later I moved it back to see if it would make a difference and it didn't. I haven't had any problems before with it stating till today, usually it starts right up.
Got any suggestions?

You could also try unplugging the MAF and see if the car starts. If the PCM doesn't get a MAF reading, it defaults to speed density mode and uses the MAP sensor to run the car. Its basically a fail-safe system. If it starts with the MAF unplugged, then you have a bad MAF sensor.

Thanks. I was going to try to unplug the maf earlier today, but I couldnt get the plug off. When I moved the maf earlier today I left everything plugged in. I just sat the maf on the engine while I took the intake tubing apart.

I think the problem may have something to do when I was taking some of my old gauges out from the dash. I unhooked a ground wire, but idk what it would be for. The car starts better if I key it to start real fast a bunch of times.
Also my dad unplugged the maf and it didn't help any.

Sorry - didn't catch the part about no spark - thought that was an earlier problem. No, that wouldn't be the fuel pump. Does it have spark at all when you crank it with a plug out? Not really following exactly what you have going on...

Most of the time it doesn't. It will eventually work. The only way it really starts is if I key it forward to start a few times continuously. Instead of just holding the key there making it turn over for awhile. Sorry its kinda hard to explain.

I think this may be an overfueling-at-idle problem, not
an absolute lack of spark. Maybe you have a setup
where a MAF fault doesn't light the SES, but still puts
the thing into speed density mode (where perhaps you
are not so well tweaked up), or maybe you have some
other sensor fault with direct effects on fueling (or
more likely airflow calculation).
Scanning for normalcy in MAF Hz, MAP, ECT, TPS and
the like would be a good start.
Connector pins might be worth inspecting, they can
push out.
