Default Question on 00 & 01 PCM

OK here's the deal, my buddy is waiting to get his PCM back from a mail tune and he might not have it back by the weekend. I will be going out of town and he asked if he could borrow my PCM to put in his car so he could drive his car since I won't be around. Mine is a 2000 and his is a 2001 so we were wondering if we did take mine out to put in his car would his car run like normal without any problems ? Both of our cars are M6 also. I did tell him that I thought the 2000 had smaller injectors then the 2001 and if that's true would his car not run right because of it ? Would the car even start if we put my PCM in his ? Just trying to figure out if we could even do this without messing anything up. If there is a chance it could it's no big deal we sure won't do it. But if it would work then I'll let him use it over the weekend.

If it works at all, it will run OK with the 28 lb injectors instead of 26, I've done this (run stock 2000 OS in my car which has 2001 injectors). Don't know about anti-theft. Also if your OS is stock it will have EGR enabled, which will probably cause an SES on a 2001. Spark timing tables have more advance I believe in 2000 than later (due to cam change) so there might be a problem with knock.
