Default Rail vs non rail mounted regulator tuning

This is kinda a hybred question but again also a tuning issue. I am doing a swap on a S10 and I am using a 01 PCM with a 01 6 speed program in it. I am having a shop disable the VATS and also change the speedo pulse count with LS1 edit so the truck will run once I get it together. I am going to do a on the rail regulator setup. Does the PCM tune have to be different for this setup or will the single line setup in the PCM work fine. Truck is gonna have a heads and cam setup on it with long tubes and will be retuned later but I just want to get it mostly on it's feet. Any suggestions and I would appreciate it.

as long as you have the regulator to 58psi static (non vacuum referenced) the computer should not be an issue.

The late PCMs' injector table values embody the standard
fuel system's nominal pressure/flow fade for the rear-mounted
regulator scheme. A rail-mounted regulator might stiffen up the
fuel pressure/flow relative to the original, giving you some
high-end enrichment. This might not be such a terrible thing.
If it is, you can tune it. It would likely be a few-% thing if
even noticeable.
