Vericom vc-200

My grandfather had it in his garage collecting dust when I went over and changed his garage door opener. I noticed it and he said take it.. judging by the dust on it, it hasn't been used in a long time.

Were these accurate (within the realm of what these things like the g-tech do)? Do they lose calibration?

Just curious for some thought about it.. thanks.

Good score there..... They are MUCH more accurate than a G-Tech. I used to have one many years ago, can't remember the model. They are great units. It shouldn't need to be calibrated if it was just sitting around. You can probably call Vericom and get a manual if you don't have one with it.

Good Luck.

Wow, that's great! Thanks for the reply Bill. I'll look in the box and see if it has a manual.

I agree, the new models are used in new car development by many of the auto companies, super accurate.

Now they are SUPER EXPENSIVE too. I was going to buy one not to long ago and the go well over $1,000 for the cheapest model.
