Trans Swap/Converter Install tuning info.
I am swapping out my 4L60E for a built 4L60E and a stall converter. I was looking for some tuning information that would make my tuning easier. If you guys could help that would be great! Thanks in advance!

Yeah I am looking for some info on converter lock up and which gear I should have it lock up in. Also I have put in a stage 2 trans go shift kit and a corvette servo with some upgraded hard parts. Also has race clutch's and steels. Any input would help. Thanks!

Honestly, that is usually a personal choice thing and depends on the cam in the car too... some people like the car to hold gears longer and not lock up as early in 3rd. Are you tuning it yourself? If so, which software do you use?
I have some standard shift tables I use and then have the customer drive and tell me if they like it and tweak on the spot - trial and error really...

My buddy that has tuned a few cars is gonna be tuning it for me. He has done a few automatics. I was just trying to get some insight so that i can help him out a bit. I still only have the stock cam for now. My buddy is using HP tuners.
My other buddy says he has his car set to lock up in forth gear. Thanks.
