Default trying to decide on a wideband

I am trying to decide on a wideband to use with HP Tuners. I see that many people use the lc-1 and many people love the NGK AFX. I am looking for something low in price that is a decent wideband, dont need anything fancy. I am also wanting something portable or something that I can make portable. I am just starting out in the tuning world. Any suggestions?

Is there any decent wideband out there in the $200 range? I have read nothing but good things about the LM-2, but I was hoping to find something less expensive, since this is just like a hobby and not something I plan on making money from.

Think about what you are doing, and what you seek. An AFR is a one-time expense, do you want a low quality unit for $200 or a high quality unit for more?

I have no experience with this newest version, but my older version has been trouble free:

They also offer a DIY kit if you want to assemble it yourself.
