Plug Wires? At idle & part-throttle spark may be adequate to mask a bad wire. At WOT you can't feel minor misfire.

I believe the PCM only detects MM by sensing quick changes in crank speed at idle. In other words it's looking for a smooth rotation of the crankshaft, not like when there's a miss or idle roughness caused by a hot cam. A cammed car often sets MM if idle is low. You can work around this by raising the idle. If no cam, find the misfire.

Without checking it with a scanner we will only be guessing. If it truly is running perfectly smooth, perhaps the crank sensor is having an issue.

The code reader you have is just that, a code reader. A true scanner will let you see the actual real time engine data to help you diagnose a problem.

A scanner will show you the engines misfires as they are occurring, cutout one cylinder at a time, etc so you can pinpoint which cylinder is having the issue.
