Default Retune needed after converter install?

Hey there, just wondering, on a bolt on car, that has a tune already, if I were to install a 3600 stall, would I need to retune the PCM?

The only thing that might be an issue is the shift points - they may need to be adjusted depending on where they end up with the new convertor... only one way to know for sure.

If it's a lock-up converter the TCC apply/release might need adjusted alittle as well, correct me if I'm wrong.

NEED it? No.

Drive it and see if it behaves like you want it to. If it does not get it tuned to suit your driving style.
