Default HP tuner license question

Guys, I hope this isn't a FAQ but.... My car has been tuned with HP Tuners and is unlocked. The person that tuned it is not tuning anymore. I am taking the car to get it tuned again tomorrow morning (complete new engine, heads, cam, headers and exhaust), and did not know if the tuner was going to have to purchase more credits to tune it, or just get into the program and manipulate the numbers?

Thank you,

Blake

Yes the new tuner will need to purchase 2 more credits. unless you have access to the prevois person interface.

The credits stay with the cable.

Depends on if the tuner you are taking it to already has a full model year license for your vehicle or not.

If your new tunershop has the tunershop license for your vehicle they won't need to purchase credits.

If your new tunershop has the year/model license for your vehicle they won't need to purchase credits.

If your tunershop is doing each vehicle on a case by case basis by doing single vcm licenses they will need to purchase credits to tune your vehicle.
