p0300, random multiple cylinder misfire
Installed my Pacesetter longtubes and ORY and now I am getting P0300 - random multiple cylinder misfire.
We didn't remove my sparkplugs during the installation, just the spark plug wires. I check all the wires and all of them are plugged in all the way. But I'm still getting the code? Any ideas?

As far as the P0300- check your wires and plugs. The stock wires break easily.

2 things caused my P0300 code and that was the crappy bosch sparkplugs might have been my gaps dunno tried different settings, and I also replaced my wires with msd. Doing both of those took care of my error code and the surging. I actually went back to the AC Delco.....NGKs are ok with no problems as well.

make sure the pacesetters aren't smacking the kmember/floorboard.
If you have efilive you can actually watch the knock sensor's when you rap the headers with a crowbar and it sets off a code. If you got any bump'ing to the kmember or floorboard you can set off codes.

is a front (S1) O2, not a rear.
Bank 1 is always the side of engine that has piston 1 ( which is drivers side of LSx engines) thus bank 2 is where piston 2 is ( passenger side).
S1 is sensor before the Cats (upstream) and S2 is O2 after the Cats (downstream)
Being there is no activity you should check to see if the O2 connectors are mating correctly, has a bad connector pin, or wires broken/burned.
Being it is in a pending state PCM is not sure if there really is a problem but if it ocurrs again then the DTC will be jumped up to a "current" state and then PCM is sure the sensor has a problem.
As to P0300, multi misfires,
its common with headers and is most likely false misfires or AFR is out of wack but in either case best path is to have the PCM calibration tuned which includes the misfire functions.
