Default HP tuner credit/license question

I already have HP Tuners, a few years old, the old serial cable that does all 99 f-bodys. I been reading around and read that you cant add anymore vehicles to this.. Is this true? So if I want to tune my 99 vette I have to buy the whole software package again?? that would suck if I do.

Correct, sales support stopped for serial interfaces back in Sept 2009, we sent out an emailer to every customer as well as stickied it on our forum back in late 2008.

This blows. So im supposed to buy a whole new version? I couldnt imagine you had a happy fan base when this came to. I'll hunt around for a used one. The license was awesome, I dont know how many friends have my 2 bar op system in theirs for free...lol. Can never keep anything good.
Thanks.
