Default 2002 tach signal wire

I have a 2002 camaro running bs3. i have the computer in it still runing the guages. my tach does not work. I had a custom harness made with a crank signal plug for the tach. I plugged it in and it didnt work. I run an crank trigger for the bs3. Anyone know which wire is the signal. i have a green, blue with white stripe and yellow with black stripe. My crank trigger has two wires.

Any help would be appreciated.

The dash tach needs the cam sensor signal.

I don't have it in front of me but will shortly....

The PCM uses the crank signal for it's internal RPM calcs, but the dash tach is all cam sensor.

i wired it up correctly and got nothing. i connected a to a, b to b and c to c. The wire colors were different than you stated frost but i do have a custom harness. who was the member that redid the stock 2002 tachs to work with bs3 on here with 1 wire like the 98?

Low reference usually just means ground and that's what how it looks in the schematic. Try gounding the pink/black wire and see if it works.
