Default Please help :(

This past week at the track my car was running great..then about the tenth pass I launched..car bogged almost to a stall then re fired...all the gauges re set....what does this mean? Fuel issue.?

Car was recently tunned and this was the first time to the track with a new trans/converter combo...not sure if this matters but I have never had a problem like this in all my track days.

The fuel system is stock, and has been raced hard for 3 yrs...the filter was replaced this past week so thats not it....

any advise would be veryyy much appreciated. thanks!!

Sounds like it might be a loose connection - check your ground connections on the back of the head... And check your battery connections... As simple as it might sound - saw one where the car would cut off every time it was launched at the track - turns out his battery holddown was broken and allowing the battery to lean back against the inner fender shorting out...

Gauge reset = loss of elec power, not fuel.
