Default Help, please check out my tune

I had my car tuned a couple of weeks ago using HP Tuners. It was a very hot day if that makes a big difference. Anyway, it's a LS6 with a 224/228 cam with 555 lift on 114, and it's bolted up to a 350 turbo in a 76 Camaro. It has the Edelbrock LS1 conversion headers. The car has a lean stumble at low rpm when going to WOT. It will not even spin the tires, and it goes to ~16.8 on the wide band.

So, I need input to decide if I have a hardware problem or is there a tuning issues...or both? I found a split in my intake tube just before the throttle body after my tune.

Input is greatly appreciated here!!!! My problem is that I don't have HP Tuners, well not yet anyway. I'll work with the guy that tuned it.

Thanks

John

Didn't you say on the other board that you fixed the split and it still did it?

I did fix the tear but I have not had it tuned again. Just patching it didn't help anything.

Bumping back to the top. Anybody see stuff wrong with the tune? I have the VSS hooked up but there were some other plugs for the 6 speed that I did not use since I went with the 350 turbo. Could those inputs to the pcm that are not getting info cause my stumble? The guy that tuned my car thought I had a hardware problem but we couldn't find anything. I put a new Walbro 255 pump in the car with no change.

Ok, mines fixed and heres what fixed it. The PE table was set to come in at 5000 rpm for some reason rather then just off idle. That was causing the O2 sensor to go to 0 at WOT for a couple of seconds. That just killed the car...lean bad. It would not break the tires loose.

So, we went in and changed it to 1500 rpm enable and the car came alive. It looks like GM has some truck pcm's set at 5000 rpm enable.

Thought I'd post my solution. I searched a boat load of post about stumble and hesitation problems and most never have the "I fixed it by _____" solutions. Hope this will help other folks.

Peace out

Glad to hear you got it fixed! Didn't realize you had a truck PCM - thought over on Nasty that I read you had a GTO complete pullout...
