Default I have 2 HP Tuners - hows this work?

I havnt tried anything yet because im waiting on a new laptop to get here.

I have 2 different setups.... 2 different cables.

1 setup is for my 99 F-bodys and has 2 bar SD enabled
and
1 setup is for 99-00 vettes and has the enhanced output on the cable.

Are the programs linked to the cable? So would I have to have 2 of the same program on there to have them both work on the same laptop?

You just have to validate the cable. I just asked about this because it had been a while for me to do anything like that. Update the application key and you are done. Then you can use both on the same computer. It will not overlap credits though.

Depends on if they are older serial port cables or the newer usb cables. Serial port cables the licenses are stored in the software. USB cables the licenses are stored in the cable.

Yup. I recently just sold the serial cable and just unlocked the two years that I had on the old unit. I had to run the serial cable on a different pc because i couldn't update the application key. Very aggravating but now I just have the one and it works great.

Yeah, I got my HP from Best Buy for about 250 and it has pretty much taken over as my primary PC. So little and easy to handle.

I would have upgraded them when they gave the chance to do them for free!

I thought at one time it was, I purchased mine after the big change, so it was no huge deal to me, but I thought it was at one time a free option.

I thought I also heard that they are no longer offering support for the serial cables and such.

That would have been stupid.
So I cant do all 99 f-bodys, all 99 & 00 vettes and im locked to only a few?
Sounds like a huge scam to me. The credit thing is good for the company....not good for the consumer. Probably why they were trying to get as many back as they could

Not only that, any LS1 swap I do I can reflash any pcm to my "one" licensed 2-bar tune. No dealing with credits, im limited to infinity.

Trade it in.....HAHA!
