can't see misfire

can't see misfire have ask before with no reply's, maybe did not explain myself good enough, my car is bucking and surging, i have tried monitoring misfires with snap-on and otc scanners with no luck, it seems like the page in frozen , is it possible that the tuner has lock out the misfire codes and it has efected the misfire option on my scanners? or is that imposible?
