Default Can't read/connect through OBDII port now

98 Z28.

I have a handheld scanner that I used to connect to my car and pull codes/clear codes. I never had any problems reading before, and it reads on other vehicles.

What would cause the scanner not to read now?

I did have the computer unconnected so I could solder wires into my progressive controller (TPS and RPM).

The SES light is on and I can't read it to pull codes.

Any ideas?

+1 on the blown fuse. Does your cig lighter work? Should be same circuit as the aldl connector.
