Default Powdercoated PCM?

Anyone ever take the screws out from the PCM and powercoat the two metal pieces? I was thinking about polishing it with a dremel but the parts inbetween the fins seem hard to get to. I took apart a spare 01' PCM which looks the same on the outside, and all it is, is the electronic board, held in by a couple Torx screws, and then a rubber spaghetti seal in between the two metal pieces. Nothing electronic on the metal pieces.

Anyone have any input/pictures?
