Default transmission tuning question

ok i got my tranny at my builders shop and we were tearing it down and found out my vb has the vacuum modulator.my question is this..if the vacuum modulator is demanding 100% line pressure at wot,can a tuner increase the line pressure even more? to where the tranny has too much line pressure causing damage?i thought that if you go with a vacuum modulator,it eliminates all the solonoids associated with line pressure thus a tune would be useless as far as line pressure is concerned.please chime in.

Default

When a vacuum modulator is installed, the computer controlled line pressure goes away... the only thing controlled by the computer are the shift points, not the pressure.
