HPtuners & a wideband if you get the pro version which I highly recommend. The pro version makes it very easy to connect your wideband to. Going this route youre gonna have about $850 into it with the wideband. I got it & I like it. A lot of guys like EFIlive, its slightly better but its also more($800) but HP will do anything you need it to do.

Where do you mount the temporary wideband? Stock narrowband location?

Get JET's DST it has far more parameters that allows for better tuning with mods.

I use HP Tuners with an LM-1 wideband. I use a exhaust clamp that I can switch from car to car.

The easy part is bying the HPT, the hard part is learning how to use it. I dropped a couple grand attending courses to learn how to tune, But then that's my addictive hobby fun side.

Find a good tuner in your area. Easier and cheaper.

Very true, if you can find one that does a good job. If you plan on continually modding though it might be better to learn how.
