A/f ratio wide band install
Topic a/f ratio wide band auto meter gague. Any one have knowledge of this install? Is it beneficial to install
an wot throttle switch to read a/f ratio at full throttle as opposed to running the brown wire constant to get a/f ratio readings thru the power band? How is the wot switch mounted
on the throttle body any specifics?? 2000 ws-6

May I ask why you wouldn't want the wideband to work through the power band?. I could be missing something but my wideband takes 20 seconds to warm up before it starts reading. O2 sensors have internal heaters to help get a better reading and burn off deposits. And if you are riding around with the sensor off exhaust deposits like to stick to the sensor if it isn't hot which drastically shortens the life of the sensor.

This option is discussed in the autometer install instructions as a way to
read the a/f only on wot such as if you have a nos setup were it would be
benefical to know the a/f at wot (dedicated)
PS THE O-2 IS ON IT IS THE DATA STREAM THAT IS NOT READING UNTIL THE
WOT GROUNDS THE CIRCUIT TO REGISTER THE A/F RATIO ON THE GAGUE READOUT.
