LOw idle issues and sometime dies on the decell and coming to a stop!!!!!

LOw idle issues and sometime dies on the decell and coming to a stop!!!!! Not sure where to post this but i need an answer.. tried the remedies on section devoted to f bodies not too many answers or fixes.. So here it goes ... i have a 99 trans am auto. when im in park it idles at 600 rpms and in gear stopped it sits at 400 to 500 rpms.. And when im driving 40 down a hill on its own power letting it decell the rpms drop below 500 almost 300 rpms then jump up above 1000 rpms.. searching to stay running.. Some times when i come to a stop its been know to die completely.. I replace all the vacume and pcv lines and replace intake gaskets.. So i cant figure out whats wrong... so help me out thanks

If you haven't checked your plugs and wires yet, give that a try. I recently had an issue with mine idling low while in gear and it feeling like it wanted to die coming to a stop. It turned out I had two spark plug wires that wouldnt clip onto the spark plug due to the connector inside the plug boot.
