Question VATS & Passkey Bypass question.... ???

If VATS is already tuned out of the PCM but the car still won't start, is there any point in performing a Passkey Bypass from under the steering column?

PS.... Even with VATS turned off in the PCM, the security light still flashes. ... I'm just not throwing a DTC.

....

Your meter is probably showing the value in K ohms. That is 3740 ohms. That is one of the 15 possible resistor values.

Yea, I just looked it up. It's resistor value *10*.

Problem Solved!!!... Passkey Bypass: DONE! ... So the answer to my original question is "YES"... So even if you tune VATS out, if the car won't start it IS still nessisary to perform a Passkey Bypass. ... BooYaaaa!!!

Made a Vid!
