Tuner expert.....question
Its about my 1998 fuel system.
I'm thinking of removing the solenoid in the rear by the gas tank that lets fresh air into the canister and putting a paper filter on it....but leaving the solenoid under the hood attached and plugged in to the intake vacuum port.
Will that cause too much air to go into the canister, pulling too much gas fumes out of the cansiter and fuel tank into the intake?
What causes the solenoid on the intake to open and close?
OR
If I unplug and remove the solenoid on the intake and cap everything off, then remove the rear fresh air solenoid and unplug it as well......and leave that line open......will gas fumes just escape that way as a vent line?
