Default No codes but car stumbles, voltage drops when slowing down

I want to ask if any of you might know where I should go next with this.

I recently changed the air filter and MAF. The car has run fine until this point. 5 minutes into the first drive with the new MAF/filter, the car takes a dive....stalls every time I come to a stop and barely idles. I put the old MAF back on and it's a whole lot better - won't stall but the idle sorta surges up and down a little bit.

When driving the car now with the old MAF back on, the car stumbles and voltage drops from 14 to 13 for 1 second while coming to a stop then recovers. I put the scanner on the car and there are no codes.

I don't remember the stumble before I switched out the MAF. Any ideas where you would look next since there is no apparent code?

Jeff

"expensive" is probably a better word but it's the only thing that fits that doesn't look like it belongs on a Honda.

Rip-off is the best term!

You can make 5 pulls on the dyno with no cal changes and get 5 wildly different AFR's. It makes a ton of turbulence. I tell my own swap guys that they are completely un-usable. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news!

I didn't realize how much heat you picked up off the radiator with one until I did a datalog on a friends car with one installed. No wonder it ran great with the hood open and like poop once it warmed up while going down the road!

Log AFR OL (or even just WOT) for several pulls and see what ya get.

Look at this thing... they built a filter into a MAF end.
