Default Wideband 02 location

I was wondering if I could weld my wide band 02 into a cutout plate and just bolt the plate on for tunning? This seems like it would be simpler to use on multiple cars that have exhaust cutouts but no 02 bung for the wideband... ???

Sure, why not. Just make sure that the sensor is in the direct exhaust flow.

The other thing to consider is if water vapor can collect or be directed (on start up) in the area of the plate. All recomendations for sensor bung installation is as near the 12 o'clock position as possible.
