Default spark timing behavior question

I was monitoring my car's tune yesterday and I noticed something intersting.

I started monitoring at 30 mph in 1st and ended at the top of 3rd (6600 rpm). What I noticed, is that on the onset of WOT the timing jumped to 40* advance and then eventually worked it's way down to 33.2* ... then suddenly in the middle of the rpm range, it dropped to 27* for a moment then back up to 31.3* where it moved around between 30* and 33.3*. This happened in all three gears.

I immediately suspected KR ... so I checked that sensor. The whole time, it recoreded 0 KR. Is this normal behavior?? Can anyone tell me what's going on??

Last time i monitored it (on a dyno pull), it started at 33.4* and moved down to 32.5* with 0KR. Which is what I expected to see this time around.

Any ideas or comments???

Can you e-mail the files? If they are not EFILive files can you export to Excel?

It is not EFILive ... I'll see what I can do about converting it to tab or comma delimited.

Timing is based on many different variables (RPM, load, temp, etc...)

If you are getting no KR, it sounds perfectly normal to me...
