Default Tuning/wideband placement questions

I'm getting ready to buy wideband O2 for my car.

What is the best O2 sensor to get?

Bosch-NGK/NTK..

How inaccurate would the O2 sensor that is placed at the tail pipe vs welding a bung permanently on the exhaust driver's side?

Reasoning of my consideration of placing O2 at the tail pipe are:

I plan to buy another GM LS base car in thenear future so I don't want a permanent O2 wideband on my car, two: Well, I will try and help some of my buddies who have the same platform as me to tune their car.

I do have HPTuners Pro to hook up my O2 wideband, that being said do I need all the doodads (controller at least) that comes w/ LM-1? Can I just buy the wideband, controller and the tail pipe mount piece/bung?

Who sells stainless steel weld in bung/plug?

I had one welded when I was in AR and it was just regular mild steel and the bung/plug is now seized from the rust/heat.

In addition...

I'm not in to make a business with these so I just want something that is proven to work and better than a mediocre.

It is more accurate to drill a bung hole near the collectors.

It is not permanent cause they have caps for the hole if you want to remove.

Innovate makes a decent set-up. that can be removed later

I've gather that much but I'm trying to weigh in how much inaccuracy when they are mounted at the tail pipe. My dyno tune session, the tuner mounted his wideband at the tail pipe.

If I was to tune another GM LS base car I would have to drill another hole for a bung/cap at the exhaust for the wideband while the one at the tail pipe I can just remount from car to car.

I've looked into INNOVATE, they have pretty interesting kit is there anymore out there other than INNOVATE?

ngk afx is what i've always used, pretty accurate WB. IMO it needs to be in the header or manifold, definitely pre cats if you run them.

Will I able to hook this up w/ just my HPTuners Pro. I don't want that silly looking square box w/ dig numbers. I'm not trying to make my car to look like a KITT car from the inside.

yup it's got a 0-5v output wires, also has a free air cal. the best WB for the money IMO. in the scanner if you look it already has the voltage offsets setup for it as well.

Cool. Looks like AFX is my next purchase. I hate spending money.
