Default What can I safely set my shift points at? (Hypertech and Cam)

I recently bought a HPP3 to adjust my gear/speedometer, fans, and shift points.

I was wondering with my given setup, what I could safely adjust my shift points using the new Hypertech at (AUTOMATIC)?

PERFORMANCE:

:LS6 Block and LS6 intake manifold
:Thunder Racing 215/220 .600/.523/115 "Old Man" Cam

:Crane Double Valve Springs
:Custom True Dual "H" Pipe w/ Two-Chambered mufflers and turn-downs before the rear axle
:NX Wet Kit (Jetted for 125 Shot)
:NOS Brand Purge Solenoid
:Hypertech Power Programmer Plus

I was wondering the same thing. Take a look at your manual for the PPIII on shift point changes. It does a pretty good job of telling you how to do it. I would set you rev limiter up first then work from there. Each mph you raised bumps the rpm differently depending on rearend gear and the gear change you are setting. You really need to be at the track though. I will say bumping all of the shift points on mine really woke up the truck. Sorry I could not be of more help. Maybe some else can. If your manual does not have the shift tables let me know you gear and I will post them.

I got my set at +3,+5,+8. But you can e-mail hypertech with your current set-up and they can tell you if they recommend those shifting points are ask them what they recommend. Those guys are all ex-in shop mechanics. But, when you take your car out, look at you rpm range to see how high it get's and when it shifts. You would have to play with it, in order to get just right.
Btw I programmed the rev-limiter to 6400.
