Default ls6 ecu in ls1

I looking at an 04 ecu for my 01 camaro. Well I wanna know what will be needed to make this work.

Why?? 04 Vette is a 1024K DBW pcm. 01 F-body is a 512K DBC pcm.

What does the dbc mean. I'm more of a new guy on the electronics

DBW drive by wire, electronic throttle body.
DBC drive by cable, cable throttle body.

You could run the 2004 GTO drive by cable OS in a 6243 PCM with minimal changes to your factory wiring, but you'd lose your dual fan speeds
I don't know of any 2004 OS's that would allow you to keep dual fans speeds, without running the BCM that goes with it
I don't see any advantage of switching to the newer PCM, since you already are running a 411
