Hunting idle and unusually hard lope
I just installed a cam and RADIX kit on my truck. The cam is 216/220 .525/.532 114. I got everything running and notice it lopes pretty hard until the STFT's get up to about +30, then it eases up. The STFT's keep climbing on up to 50+ though.
I multiplied the VE table by 80% up to 1200 rpm and added 3* timing up to 1000 rpm. I also raised the idle RPM by 150.
Can someone help me out with tuning this thing please?
EDIT: I want it to lope a little, but I want it to come down and idle decently too.

I do need to change back to the original MAF ... I threw a lean code later tonite.
Which way do I need to go with the IFR? Up or down? What about the hard loping. I mean it's a small cam, but it was loping hard.
I have the IFr set at 5.25, which is what the original RADIX tune had them set to.

From what I've described ... do you think I could have a vaccum leak? I got to thinking about it, and it may even be an exhast leak at the headers .... hrmmmmmmm
