Placement of wide band sensor
I have plans to add a wide band sensor to my car for tuning.
My question is how far down the pipes can it be placed?
I have a cross pipe just after my T56 gearbox about 2 feet down from the headers collector. My regular O2-sensors (the first ones, the secondaries are not present) are placed in the collectors. I would like to place the wide band sensor in the cross pipe so it will read from both banks. Will that work and will the sensor get proper readings placed that far away from the engine?
Thanks
Jan
