2004 LS1 Corvette PCM/ECU in a 1998 LS1 Camaro? I found a cheap PCM to swap in my 1998 LS1..is it possible?

It's not a direct swap, would require harness rework and reprogramming if it would work. The 98 is different than the 99-02 F-body. Basically a 99-03 C5 used the same PCM as the 99-02 f-body (with different OS). But the 04 is still different, so not sure if that would work at all.

If you want a replacement, I'd find one out of the same application.

Direct fit no. Do not even try to plug it in or you will fry it.

You can do some repinning on the harness to make it work though. Its not that hard, takes a few hours to reping the harness, but in the end IMO its very rewarding.
