Default EFI Live trans question

I have v2 and need to know if it can help me diagnose a 4l60e,buddy got a wrecking yard 4l60e out of 2wheel drive 5.3 truck,we put it in a 87 iroc and LS1 ,bubb mail order tune, custom harness (which wasnt pinned 100%) this trans will not upshift out of 1st,has reverse and 1st.We checked harness before installing although I missed 1 wire wrongly placed. Also to have the speed sensor connected to an aftermarket sensor, part of the convertion kit.,please help if you can

Guess Im asking if efilive can manualy apply shift like tech 2,things like that

If you have the EFILive Scan&Tune cable/hardware, then yes you can command the shift solenoids...

download/install the latest V7 software from the EFILive downloads website...

then start the scantool, connect (green button on upper left), goto DVT tab...

let me know if you can't figure it out from there.

Many of the trans tables use VSS and TP... so you want both of those signals to be good.

The latest one V7.5.6.157 has various bug fixes...

but if V7.0 works on your car then you should be ok.
