I recently bought a 2001 kit car. The car has a stock LS6 crate engine except for the FAST mechanical throttle body, intake and headers. The ECU is a Delphi and I'm not sure of the wiring harness manufacturer. The car runs great. I want the car to pass GA emissions. I had it in the shop and the codes were read. There were two codes present, high idle and right fan error. I want to play around to resolve the code issues and pass emissions. So I need to be able to read the codes as I try fixes and be able to flash the ECU. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a code reader and a tuning package or combo?

I saw an Actron CP9190 Elite Autoscanner Pro Scan Tool at Autozone for $249.

What about tuning package?
