98-99+ pcm, what to do with low oil sensor?
I did this swap a few months ago to a 0411 pcm. IIRC my notes just said that my low oil level sensor wire "could be wired in elsewhere". Dont get me wrong, i check the level before starting everytime, this isnt a daily driver. I really just want this to work for peace of mind. What do i need to do to get this to work? Even a light somewhere else in the car to show something is wrong would be fine with me.

The dash side of it is on pin C of connector 220 the switch side of it was on pin 76 of connector C2 of the PCM since the light has power supplied to it and the switch goes to ground, I don't see why you can't tie them together. I'm not sure if the switch is on, when the oil is low or when its full, you'd have to check the sensor with a meter

Basically what he is saying is find the dash wire/computer wire that controls the warning light. That wire goes to the switch in the oil pan. Wire the switch->> One wire to the light, one wire to a ground. When the switch activates from low oil pressure, it will connect the two wires illuminating the bulb in the dash. (because the bulb only lacks a ground connecting to be complete, it already has 12+)

when you go to do it, get an inline fuse holder and put a 2 amp fuse in it. Put the fuse inline with your connection, that way if it doesn't like it, the fuse will blow.
