00 F-Body 2-3k RPM Part Throttle Sputter?
I have a 00 trans am, car has a sputter between 2-3k rpm, only does it at part throttle, does not do it at full throttle. the injector scanner goes haywire only between 2-3k rpm....everything is new including multiple 85mm zo6 mafs, new injectors, new tps, new fuel filter and pump....i even had the car tuned on speed density and it still did it... car makes 490whp stock ported 241 heads and t-rex cam and 350 gears. i just hate when im trying to accelerate on the hwy between 2-3k rpm and its sputtering, right after 3k rpm it clears up and pulls smoothly. any help is appreciated, thanks.
i just put my computer in another car and the other car ran perfect no sputter, i put there computer in my car and my car still sputtered exact same. so i know its not the tune.
new o2 sensors, still same

sounds like tune to me, surges/bucks/jerks are most always tune related, unless your running that big of a cam with lower gears. like 3.23-3.42 then that could cause a jerk as well.

Best thing to do is try to log the problem. Keep an eye on what AFRs are doing, what timing is doing, if the knock sensors are active, what the MAP/MAF is doing, etc. This might help you find the problem. I'd also check for mechanical issues such as vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, broken valve springs, bent pushrods, bad spark plugs (fouled, over/under gapped, etc.), solid ground connections, etc.

You should post up a copy of the tune and a log of the drive when it's sputtering. Without any data, people aren't going to be able to give you solid advice...only general guess-timates as to what the problem could be.

Does it have new o2 sensors? If not replace them. My camaro did the same thing while trying to tune it for the TREX. We added fuel took it away, same with timing and the car didn't change. It didn't set any faults either. Put new o2's on it and the car ran perfect and screamed like a ****. It always sputtered around 2-2500 rpms while going through the gears.

How much money are you going to just throw at the problem? Seriously, try logging the problem with a decent scanner and see if the sensors pick up on anything. There's quite a few things it could be...no sense in just throwing parts at it until it goes away.
