Default Need an LT1 OBD-I dynotuner in the Maryland area.

I have a mail-order tune on this right now just to get it up and going. I think I'd benefit from a dynotune though. With so many places out there, it's hard to pick one from the other. I don't really know what to ask or look for in a tuner, so I'd like to take it somewhere who has a great rep so I don't have to worry about Backyard Bobby on his sweet new laptop ******* up my car.

There's a few places I know around here to get tuned. What's the general impression of these places? PM me if you don't want to air it out...

Performance Specialties Inc
F-Body Central F-BodyCentral - Late Model GM Performance
JPC: Home Page (Even though they are more Ford, they know their stuff)
B&V Performance: www.NOT-A-SPONSOR.com.org.gove.net
Total Performance: www.NOT-A-SPONSOR.com.org.gove.net
Maryland Performance Center: www.NOT-A-SPONSOR.com.org.gove.net

I only want to do it one time of course!

Thanks.

Are you sure those shops do OBD1 LT1s? Tuners that do them are getting few and far between. I do them, and have for years, but I am in Virginia Bwach.

I'm honestly not too sure. I know that PSI does. Not positive about JPC, although I did talk with Justin. None of the software he listed was good for an OBD-I LT1 though.

I'm looking to take it somewhere experiened and knows WTF they are doing

VA Beach is almost a 5 hour hike! Damn

Total performance and Maryland performance should be avoided like the plague.

Agreed! Since you only want to do it once...take a drive.

Well so far you have knocked everything off my list except the one guy I know whose shop is a fairly new start-up.

I'll keep the suggestions in mind...keep the feedback coming.
