Default PCM input for P/N

does anyone know if there is an input pin that needs to be hooked up for the Pcm to know that your in Park or neutral?I have a 2000 firebird that i had a Segment swap done M6 to a 4L80E everything works great except when it is neutral or park it basically does not adjust the STITs anymore the very instant you put it in gear the STITs come back! Also when you start it in park or neutral it just plain fails to stay running because the STIT does not adjust?any schematic would be helpful.
